Happy Halloween

Today is Sidney's first Halloween. She wore her leopard costume given to her by cousins Linda and Joyce. We attended our neighborhood block party which Sidney slept through. We're now sitting and waiting for trick-or-treaters.

Sleepy Sunday Morning

It's hard to tell in this pic, but Sidney was flipping us the bird this morning. If she continues to do this after she gains control of her hands, then I will worry.

Sidney's One Month Old!

Today is Sidney's one-month birthday! We've decided to take a picture of her in her polka-dot chair each month to record her growth. Thanks to our friend and real estate agent Sheri for the chair. She thought that Sidney wouldn't get to use it for awhile, but we found an early use for it!

Last Sunday, we had a farewell dinner for my parents who had been here for three weeks helping with Sidney and keeping us company. We invited our friends, Kevin and Denise, over to join us. Denise took these pictures of Sidney and I absolutely love them.

On the evening of September 7, 2009, Sidney Sharon Swanson was born. She weighed in at a whopping 7 pounds, 7 ounces and was 18 inches tall.

With our family and friends spread out across the country, we want to use this blog as a way to connect with everyone near and far. Please check in often. We will do our best to keep it up to date between naps and feedings and crying jags.
